Picture to be replaced by own creation
A point cloud is a set of data points in space.
The software is identifying on each picture points of resemblance.
Those points are represented in 3D.
This is the first phase in the building of 3D models. It is linking all the pictures together.
The picture of MicMac is a "dense" point cloud representation. Dense is produced after the production of a point cloud.
Better to set up a series of control points, if possible with GPS data, to help the software to look for connection points
